Pedro Rosales was born and grew up in Tela Atlántida, Honduras, until he was 10 years old. Then, he moved to New York City, USA. His life has been like many stories of immigrants, full of challenges and tough decisions that tested his patience and strength. Despite all this, Rosales never gave up. He showed incredible talent for business and always believed in abundance. These qualities, along with his friendly personality, have made him successful in business and a beloved family member.

He wants to tell his story to inspire young people to work hard, stay dedicated, and think creatively as entrepreneurs.

Learning the Ropes

Pedro entered work and professional life at the age of 14. Despite the geographical distance from him, he was young but determined to financially support his great-grandmother (the lady who raised him from 6 months of birth to 10 years of age). His career began with odd jobs. He used to work the night shift as a cleaner at a medical center and earned only $200 a week. A year later, he worked as an air conditioning refrigeration technician with his good friend and mentor Victor, who at the time was a 55-year-old man, one of his best friends during Rosales' adolescence. Victor taught him work and business ethics and encouraged his entrepreneurial spirit.

He then worked at a stainless steel kitchen manufacturing plant with his brother. It was a hard job that was not for someone so young (he was only 16) and where he also got his first taste of workplace abuse, but he saw it as a way to learn more about how to be responsible, make money and stay focused on his goals. .

In 2004, Pedro decided to move to Florida to start a new life. The year marked the start of his sales career. He joined a company in Florida called US Buildings, as a telemarketer. Within a short time, his outstanding performance as a salesman received recognition. His excellent interpersonal skills, sales strategy, and friendly persona helped him secure multiple deals over the phone. It led to his promotion to Senior Sales Executive within three months of his employment.

Unexpected circumstances and a car accident led to his shift to New York. He used his sales experience to position himself as a successful sales executive in Manhattan. His remarkable sales record led to multiple awards, including 2 President’s Club Award, Pinnacle Award, and Top 3 Sales Producer in the US.

He became a father at age 19, marriage and parenthood was not something he planned or expected at such an early age. Finding a work-life balance in the corporate sector wasn’t easy. Therefore, he switched to entrepreneurship. His first business was a peer-to-peer lending business. After that, he started a clothing line, fragrance range, and smartphone sales business.

Unfortunately, the recession of year 2006-2008 created multiple setbacks. Due to the economic instability, Pedro decided to move to Honduras for 1 year and reconnect with his roots to refresh his mind and soul.

The Life of an Entrepreneur

Pedro’s hometown paved the way for many business opportunities, including a beauty spa, collaboration with a large construction firm, and consumer shops for clothing, cell phones, and fragrance.

His hard work and determination helped him become one of the fastest growing entrepreneurs in Honduras.

In 2011, Pedro returned to New York as a business tycoon to fulfill family commitments. He established a drop-servicing business model to expand his business empire.

Within three years, he became a stakeholder and business partner of over 42 companies. These businesses ranged from import-export businesses, accounting firms, commercial enterprises, restaurants, and nightclubs. He plans to leverage those experiences to provide actionable advice through Consultar.

The company originated in the United States of America, with its headquarters situated in Miami, Florida. We have since expanded to establish local representation in  28 countries, with ongoing growth.

Additionally, we manage logistics, overseeing the transportation and inventory of goods. Our services also encompass compliance, ensuring that all regulatory requirements are met.

In his personal life, Pedro has witnessed more than his fair share of heartbreaks and losses. The biggest one was the demise of his beloved great-grandmother who he considers to be his mother, the love of his life. Yet, his wife’s support and the love of his children helped him power through grief. He has since then taken care of his health and wellness, ensuring that he spends a balanced life.
